Our pack donkeys know the paths of Brionnais well and will accompany you with a knowing step throughout your hike.

The donkey, the ideal companion for a hike

25 years ago we welcomed our first pack donkeys to the farm. Today the team is made up of fifteen equines.

Our donkeys are real professionals hiking. Gentle and docile, They will adapt to your walking pace during your walk. They are familiar with the trails and hiking trails.

Go on hiking with a donkey is the opportunity to share beautiful moments with a gentle and intelligent animal. An enriching experience for young and old hikers!

Pampered hiking donkeys

The well-being of our donkeys is very important to us. Principles such as adapted load, regular breaks and total balanced diet ensure their satisfaction and fulfillment.

We are accompanied by professionals (veterinarian, osteopath and farrier) who play a key role in this caring approach to ensure their good physical and mental health.

Flannel

The independent

Flanelle is Karma's mother. A very good hiker, she is particularly suited to families with teenagers. Like Titus, she prefers to hike with another donkey: they are therefore often in pairs.

Karma

The youngest

Daughter of Flanelle, she is our COVID baby! She is the youngest of the herd and she is starting her career. Very willing, she learns quickly. A magnificent career as a hiker is opening up to her.

Bilbo

The handsome guy

A purebred Provence, Bilbo is a force of nature, an excellent hiking donkey perfect for families with teenagers.

Cyrano

The empath

Cyrano is a donkey with a big heart, calm, obedient, he is a perfect donkey for families with young children.

Lennon

The mascot

Our first donkey and now the oldest. Retired since 2023, he accompanied hundreds of families on hikes for 20 years. Our favorite.

Too small for roaming hikes, she has always been exceptional for our day or half-day walks: she even has her fans who come back every year to spend time with her!

Odyssey

22 years old! She continues to hike but with lighter schedules and on more leisurely hikes. We can't decide to retire her because this donkey is so exceptionally kind: hikers will never forget her, that's for sure!

Zizou

Calm

Zizou is in early retirement and only does day or half-day hikes. He delights families with young children (well, he is still a bit greedy!).

Sushi

The convalescent

Sushi has been on sick leave for 2 years. Her health is slowly improving, but if she goes back to work, it will only be for day hikes!

Olives

The quiet force

22 years old and still in Olympic shape! Able to adapt to all levels of walking, we are sure that he still has 2 or 3 years of great hiking ahead of him.

Vasco

The sporty one

Purebred Provence, Vasco is a donkey who LOVES to work. Every morning, he is at the gate in the hope of going hiking again today. He adapts to all levels of hiking.

Titus

Spread

Born at home, the same year as our last boy, he grew up with the children and we "spoiled" him a lot. He is more than cuddly, he is a real glue pot, but be careful, he has understood how to manipulate you, so don't forget to be a little firm! Often associated with Flanelle, because he prefers to be with another donkey than alone.

Violette

the shy one

She is the latest arrival in the herd: very shy at first, because she was trained a little violently: we took the time to bring gentleness into her daily life and she has become an exceptional hiking donkey, particularly for adults and families with adolescents.

Valentine

The rebel

Magnificent donkey, with a strong character: you have to count on her, but with a little firmness, Valentine will follow you to the ends of the earth. Perfect for groups of adults and families with teenagers.
